Locating your License certificate or License Key
Claris FileMaker Pro and Claris FileMaker Server:
FileMaker Server 17 and higher use a License Certificate for installation instead of a License Key.
Your License Certificate file is available on your Electronic Software Download page and on Subscription > Downloads tab in Claris Customer Console.
FileMaker Pro 18 Advanced and FileMaker Pro 19 and later use a License Certificate for installation instead of a License key.
If you purchased FileMaker Pro/Advanced as a download from the Claris Store website, you received an email with a link to your Electronic Software Download page. Your License Certificate file is available from that page and on Subscription > Downloads tab in Claris Customer Console.
If you purchased a boxed version of FileMaker Pro/Advanced, your unique, 35-character license key is in the box.
Claris FileMaker Cloud
Claris Customer Console is a web application for working with files hosted by FileMaker Cloud and for managing Claris ID teams, including Claris ID accounts, users, groups, hosts, settings, and FileMaker Cloud subscriptions.
The Home page of the Claris Customer Console includes a link to the Subscription > Downloads tab, where you can download FileMaker Pro and the License Certificate needed for installation.
Your FileMaker Cloud License Key is also displayed on the Subscription > Summary tab of the Claris Customer Console which you will need to provide when converting a FileMaker Cloud Trial or to renew a FileMaker Cloud subscription via the Claris Store.
